The Oklahoma Highway Patrol has released information concerning a single vehicle crash that occurred in Sequoyah County last week and took the fife of an 18 year old Fort Smith woman.
Officials with the Oklahoma highway patrol say that Shilah Carrillo was driving a 2001 Toyota Tacoma on State Highway 101 approximately 11 miles north of Muldrow on Wednesday, January 18. The vehicle exited the roadway and struck a bridge. The Tacoma then rolled over and landed on its top.
Carrillo was pronounced dead at the same by the attending EMS services.
The OHP report says that Carillo was wearing a seatbelt time of the accident. As of January 23, the cause of the accident was still under investigation.
