Arkansas State Police provides details on one-vehicle accident that killed Russellville man on Tuesday in Beebe

The Arkansas State Police says a Russellville Man is dead after a one vehicle accident Tuesday night on State Highway 31 in White County.

According to information released by the Arkansas state police, 56-year-old Richard Anthony Price of Russellville was the driver of a 2004 Cadillac that was northbound on State Highway 31 at around 9:20 p.m. near the intersection with South Apple Road.

According to the narrative from that report, the Cadillac ran off the roadway to the right within the Beebe city limits and overcorrected as Price attempted to steer out of the ditch.

The Cadillac began to roll and struck a guardrail and fence. Price, who was ejected from the vehicle, was taken to Unity Hospital in Beebe where he later succumbed to his injuries.

Corporal Jason Glisson of the Arkansas State Police investigated the accident and said the weather was cloudy and overcast but the road conditions were dry at the time of the crash.

Prices's death represented the 200th fatality for the year in Arkansas on roads and highways.
