A 22-year-old has been arrested for the July murder of a Pulaski County man.
The England Police Department asked the Arkansas State Police to investigate the shooting death of 34-year-old Justin Williams and two other individuals who were shot at the corner of South Main and Nichols streets in England on July 1, 2023.
On Saturday, December 9, 2023, ASP Criminal Investigation Division (CID), England Police Department (EPD) and the Lonoke County Sheriff’s Office took a suspect into custody at a Southwest 1st Street residence in England.
Tamarous Dodson, 22, of England was charged with First-Degree Murder in the death of Williams and First-Degree Battery in the shooting of Dijonnase Shavers.
Other than child support issues, traffic tickets, and a misdeameanor battery charge for which he was being sought for a Failure to Appear warrant, no other criminal charges are listed with Arkansas Court6 Connect for Dodson.
Dodson was transported to the Lonoke County Detention Center after hus arrest on Saturday.
