The Arkansas State Police is reporting the vehicular death of a 61-year-old Berryville woman from an accident that occurred Sunday afternoon in rural Carroll County.
According to an ASP report filed with the Arkansas Department of Public safety on Monday, 61-year-old Christine Marshall of Berryille was driving a 2005 Ford northbound on State Highway 21 at just after 5:30 p.m. Sunday afternoon.
Further information from that report says that Marshall was attempting to negotiate a left-handed curve near the intersection with County Road 608 and lost control, traveling off the right side of the highway. The front left of the vehicle came into contact with a tree and the Ford came to rest facing northbound.
Trooper Jackson Little worked the accident and noted thev weather conditions were clear and the roadway was dry at the time of the fatality.
Also, according to the Arkansas State Police, Marshall's death represents the 418th of the year on Arkansas roads and highways.
