The City of Fort Smith has announced significant improvements in its approach to livestreaming Board of Directors meetings.
Effective Tuesday, August 15th at 6:00pm, all Board of Directors meetings will be exclusively livestreamed through the City's newly launched website.
After several weeks of testing, the City has transitioned from Ustream (IBM Cloud Video) to a new and enhanced platform available at www.fortsmithar.gov/watch.
This upgraded streaming service offers the public the opportunity to watch meetings live and access recent archives. A more extensive archive of meetings, agendas, minutes, and summaries can be conveniently accessed at www.fortsmithar.gov/boardmeetings.
A highlight of this platform is its real-time agenda integration. Users now have the ability to follow along seamlessly with the meeting agenda as it unfolds. Additionally, the platform empowers users to easily navigate to specific agenda items when viewing recorded meetings, enhancing the overall user experience.
The redesigned user interface is not only more accessible, it is more visually appealing, intuitive, and user-friendly
