Mayes County, OK- A two-vehicle crash occurred in Mayes County early Monday morning, resulting in the death of 49-year-old Kevin Blaine of Watts.. The incident took place shortly after midnight on US-69, north of Chouteau.
According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol (OHP), Blaine was driving a 2019 Ford Fiesta when the vehicle was involved in a collision with a second vehicle. The impact of the crash caused Blaine to be ejected from his vehicle.
The OHP is currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash to determine the exact cause. Preliminary reports suggest that Blaine was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the accident.
