According to information released by the Oklahoma Highway Patrol a Sallisaw child and a 46-year-old California woman, were killed in the four-vehicle crash Sunday near the Muldrow exit on I40.
An unidenitfied nine year old from Sallisaw and Kymbirlee Mogelberg, of Riverbank, California, both died in the horrific multiple vehicle which involved a tractor-trailer rig, a 2020 Dodge Challenger, a 2019 Dodge Ram and a 2021 Ford Expdition.
Both of the deceased were passengers in the Dodge Challenger,, which was driven by 65-year-old Judy Sexton of Sallisaw. Sexton, along with several other individuals, were transported to various hospitals to be treated for a myriad of injuries.
Police said the cause of he accident was still under invetigation after officers and accident reconstructors worked the scene for several hours on Sunday.
