Police seeking female driver of GMC Arcadia in hit-and-run that killed local biking enthusiast on September 11




Fort Smith, AR — The Fort Smith Police Department is urgently seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect involved in a serious hit-and-run collision on September 11th at approximately 7:23 PM.


The incident occurred at the intersection of Belle Avenue and Grand Avenue, where a dark gray or brown GMC Acadia struck a motorcycle, causing severe injuries to the motorcyclist.


The suspect vehicle fled the scene, heading north on Belle Avenue. Witnesses captured photos of the vehicle, which have been submitted to aid the investigation.


The driver is described as a white female with blonde hair. The GMC Acadia is expected to have noticeable damage to the front passenger side, particularly from contact with the motorcycle’s saddlebag.

Authorities are actively seeking any information that could lead to the identification and location of the suspect and vehicle involved.
