Saturday accident on State Highway 59 in Lincoln fatal to 54-year-old motrocyclist

A 54-year-old man has died at the Northwest Arkansas Regional Medical Center as the result of a motorcycle accident inside the city limits of Lincoln early Saturday afternoon, according to the Arkansas state Police.


Colin W, Krefft, listed as a resident of Springtown, Texas in an ASP preliminary report, was traveling northbound on State Highway 59 Saturday near the intersection with Suga5r Hill Road just after 2 p.m. when the 2006 Triumph he was driving exited the roadway and struck an Arkansas Highway Department sign on the on the east side of the road.


Kreftt was transported to WCRMC where he was later pronounced dead.


The accident was the 278th of the year in Arkansas resulting in a fatality and was the latest in 310 deaths overall across the state in vehicle accidents.
