This morning, I received an unusual and unsettling message from someone claiming to be none other than Morgan Wrigley, a well-known anchor at KFSM.
The individual, under the guise of Wrigley, expressed an interest in interviewing me about Today in Fort Smith and our ongoing investigations. At first, the contact seemed credible and professional, yet things quickly took a turn.
After an initial exchange, the so-called "Morgan Wrigley" began steering the conversation towards Javier Leiva's Pretend Podcast, hinting that an interview could delve into topics connected to his show. This sparked an immediate red flag. The situation began to feel strange, especially when it became apparent that this “interview” seemed to lack any legitimate journalistic aim, and was far more interested in our publication's recent work on certain individuals.
Given the suspicious nature of the exchange, I reached out directly to the news desk at KFSM. The staff and Morgan Wrigley herself confirmed that no one from their team had reached out to me, nor was any interview planned. My concerns deepened, and authorities were promptly informed.
Evidence is mounting that this incident may be a targeted attempt by individuals connected to the very people we’ve been investigating.
There’s reason to believe Javier Leiva and his puppet master, Anthony Christopher may be behind this ploy, especially in light of our recent reporting on allegations against Christopher for his alleged drugging and rape of an innocent Eureka Live patron.
This so-called "podcaster" has knowingly allowed slander and defamation about both me and Today in Fort Smith, as well as others, to go unchecked and his "research" consists of what his pay-for-play sugar daddy tells him to say as they continue to ply their false narrative about a Northwest Arkansas woman.
The ploy of utilizing fake messages, burn phones, and "text-only" services to harass my and my staff is a typical method of operation for Christopher and his ilk. At one point, Christoper contacted me and offered me "$35,000 on your porch tomorrow if you will just turn on that bitch".
That interaction resulted in the first of many times I have told Mr. Christopher to kiss my ass. On second thought, he might enjoy that too much, so I withdraw the invitation. For now.
While the investigation continues, we remain committed to reporting the truth and are prepared to pursue criminal charges over this deceptive and potentially criminal attempt to impersonate a member of the media.
Calls to Alyson Levia, Javier Leiva's "wife" have not yet been returned as we work to track down his whereabouts and to question her about Javier's relationship with Christopher.
Stay tuned as Today in Fort Smith seeks justice and brings you the truth.
