Tulsa Mayfest 2025 promises to be a fun-filled, family-oriented event scheduled for May 9-11

Tulsa is gearing up for one of its most anticipated cultural events of the year--Mayfest 2025.

Scheduled to take place from May 9 to May 11 in the vibrant Tulsa Arts District, this annual festival promises to be a feast for the senses, celebrating the city's thriving arts scene with the theme "Stay Gold." Inspired by Tulsa's connection to the iconic book The Outsiders by S.E. Hinton, the theme will be woven into the festival's programming, adding a nostalgic yet contemporary touch.

Music lovers are in for a treat as Mayfest 2025 brings an exciting lineup of performers to the main stage at Guthrie Green. Headliners include the sensational Jordin Sparks, soulful Madison Ryann Ward, and country artist Kaitlin Butts.

They will be joined by featured musicians Mezclave, Parris Chariz, Micaela Young, and John Ferrell, ensuring a diverse musical experience that caters to all tastes.

The festival will feature over 150 visual art vendors, showcasing original, handmade works across various media, including painting, sculpture, photography, and more. Local and juried artists from Oklahoma and beyond will display their creations, offering attendees a chance to explore and purchase unique pieces.

Mayfest is a family-friendly event with activities for all ages. The Youth Art Gallery will highlight the talents of young artists from Tulsa, while Kids World will offer interactive art projects and entertainment for children. For the first time, the festival will also host a 5K run and a 1K fun run, allowing participants to enjoy the scenic downtown area while supporting a good cause.

Thanks to the support of the University of Tulsa and generous sponsors, Mayfest remains free and open to the public. The festival not only celebrates art and culture but also fosters a sense of community, bringing together residents and visitors to enjoy the best of what Tulsa has to offer.
